Well, I have good news and bad news…
The bad news is this is my last post about my #SummerofGroupon adventures.
The good news is summer isn’t really over so you can still live it up for a bit longer! take pleasure in before it’s gone!!
In the spirit of wanting to send off My summer of Groupon with a BANG this Grand Finale is a three part-er starting with dinner last night. I grabbed a deal for Embarcadero California Bistro, a San Francisco themed restaurant in Orange County.
And considering that SF reminds of peace and love and all that stuff I wore my new hippie inspired headband to look the part
First things first, “Cheers to all the summer fun I’ve been having with Groupon!”
And to start – artichokes and sweet potato fries. A bit healthy, a bit decadent just like I like it
The Cioppino was AH-mazing. The fish, the broth, the everything. I don’t think I’ve ever had this dish before, but it’s my new favorite.
Tarkalleen.
Then I took the party to a hotel I found by means of Groupon too – The Clarion hotel is a family friendly place within walking distance to Disneyland.
My room overlooked the pool…
that was slowly turning into a pool party by mid-morning.
I love hotels with complimentary wifi so I can speak with you great people while I’m on vacation. HEI! {waves}
Truthfully, all I used the Internet for was to check the hotel’s location on a map and go exploring! I wanted to be directed in the direction of FUN…
So I laced up my shoes and took a morning walk to find downtown Disney.
and coffee, of course.
Then, I went back to hotel to get ready for the day.
“Meeting” this person was probably one of the (random) highlights of my adventures! I was at a red light next to this jeep and the pet dog barked in a friendly “Hey! Mitä sinä teet?! Wanna be my fren??” kinda way. We bonded.
Next stop: Jamba Juice! This place is one of my favorites for getting tasty and healthy smoothies. So, I was incredibly ecstatic when I found a Groupon for 43% off fresh squeezed juices!
I grabbed my favorite fruit & veggie drink to help amazing me off. It’s in the 90s today! delighted in in the shade by a water fountain… sweet!
